Job Overview Sports fitness flooring company seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing, particularly in sales, and will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the general manager should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of our operations including front-of-house and back-of-house management. Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals to ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals. Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively. Develop, implement and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans. Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment Develop key performance goals and managing the performance of the staff. Creating and implementing strategies for business growth. Working closely with Account Managers and other staff to improve efficiency and performance Ensure staff is following internal processes for better productivity. Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Installation management for our flooring projects Qualifications Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable Strong working knowledge of operational procedures Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good organization and time management, including the ability to work well in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines.
