Job Description

Daily Operations Oversee day-to-day restaurant and bar operations during assigned shifts. Ensure the restaurant is properly opened, operated, and closed according to company procedures. Maintain a strong management presence on the floor and actively support employees during service. Ensure proper staffing levels and make adjustments based on business volume. Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, curb appeal, and overall appearance. Ensure opening, closing, and shift responsibilities are completed correctly. Identify and address operational issues before they impact the guest experience. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and motivate FOH and BOH employees. Set clear expectations for attendance, appearance, performance, and guest service. Assist with training and development of new and existing employees. Address employee performance or conduct concerns promptly and professionally. Document incidents and policy violations according to company procedures. Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Lead by example and hold employees accountable to Coco's Crush Bar standards. Guest Experience Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and timely service. Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and work toward appropriate resolutions. Monitor food and beverage quality, ticket times, and overall service. Build relationships with regular guests and help create an atmosphere that encourages repeat business. Support efforts to maintain and improve online reviews and guest satisfaction. Financial & Operational Controls Monitor labor throughout each shift and make appropriate staffing decisions based on sales and business needs. Follow cash-handling, drawer, deposit, comp, discount, and void procedures. Review and verify required shift paperwork. Help control food, beverage, and operating costs by reducing waste and following proper procedures. Support inventory counts and communicate discrepancies or concerns to management. Protect company assets and immediately report suspected theft, fraud, or policy violations. Food & Alcohol Compliance Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements are followed. Ensure responsible alcohol service procedures are followed at all times. Verify employees follow ID-checking and alcohol compliance requirements. Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees. Immediately address unsafe conditions or compliance concerns. Communication & Administration Maintain clear communication with the General Manager and other members of the management team. Complete manager logs, shift notes, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately. Communicate staffing, maintenance, inventory, guest, and operational concerns to the appropriate manager. Participate in manager meetings and training as required. Follow and enforce all Coco's Crush Bar policies, procedures, and standards. 2-3 years of previous restaurant, bar, hospitality, or management experience required. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage employees and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of guest service and restaurant operations. Experience with scheduling, labor management, cash handling, and inventory preferred. Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts based on business needs. Must be dependable, organized, professional, and able to handle confidential employee and business information appropriately.
