Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards in food quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional eager to grow their management skills in a fast-paced, waterfront setting. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food delivery Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently Utilize Clover POS system and Door Dash for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking Control inventory levels through accurate stock management and ordering to minimize waste and optimize food costs Train new team members on food safety, food handling, customer service, and operational procedures Monitor shift performance, manage staffing schedules, and ensure smooth shift transitions Enforce health and safety regulations, including food safety management protocols Requirements Current Food Manager Certification Cooking experience in quick service restauraunt with a strong background in food industry operations Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership and staff training skills Knowledge of POS system Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, budgeting, and profit analysis Previous assistant manager or managerial experience preferred; hospitality management background is a plus Ability to interview candidates and contribute to team training efforts Join us as an Assistant Manager at our Breakfast/Lunch restaurant and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
