Pay:
$85,000 + bonus / year
Beverage Program Management :
Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends, guests' preferences, and seasonal offerings. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies. Ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures are in place to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets. Uphold all beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards. Ensure accurate inventory operations that include weekly purchasing budgets that include banquet operations. Train and educate the staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team. Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality. Monitor guest feedback and reviews related to the beverage program, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume dining establishments. Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry best practices. Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Ability to train and mentor staff effectively. Proficient in inventory management and cost control techniques. Understanding of local regulations and compliance related to beverage service. Passion for providing excellent guest experiences. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience:
Strong knowledge of FoodBeverage service procedures, strong background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume restaurant environment. Innovative with an advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, craft cocktails and overall mixology. 3 years' related experience as General Manager, Beverage Manager or Beverage Director, or similar role in an upscale, high-volume restaurant/bar/lounge environment
