Position SummaryThe Restaurant Manager is responsible for the daily leadership and operational success of the Beach House Restaurant. This hands-on role oversees front-of-house service, bar operations, team development, and guest satisfaction while maintaining Sandestins high hospitality standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, service-driven, and comfortable leading in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor beachfront environment.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient serviceLead, coach, and develop front-of-house team members including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staffMaintain a strong floor presence during service periods to ensure exceptional guest experiencesMonitor service standards, cleanliness, and operational proceduresCollaborate with culinary leadership to support menu execution and service flowManage scheduling, labor controls, and staffing levels based on business demandsHandle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and promptlyAssist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance managementMaintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulationsMonitor inventory, ordering, and beverage cost controlsSupport special events, group dining, and seasonal programmingComplete administrative duties including reporting, payroll review, and operational planningFoster a positive, team-focused work culture aligned with Sandestin valuesQualificationsPrevious Food & Beverage management experience required, preferably in a resort or high-volume restaurantStrong leadership and team development skillsExperience managing both restaurant and bar operationsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesStrong organizational and multitasking skills as well as be able to pitch in and work on the floor as neededKnowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory managementUnderstanding of labor management and cost controlsMust be dependable, professional, and guest-focusedAbility to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidaysFood Safety and Responsible Alcohol Service certifications required (or ability to obtain)Work EnvironmentCombination of indoor dining and open-air beachfront restaurant spacesFast-paced, high-volume seasonal resort environmentFrequent interaction with guests, staff, and leadership teamsExposure to outdoor weather conditions including heat, humidity, wind, and sunPhysical RequirementsStand and walk for extended periods (810+ hours per shift)Move throughout indoor and outdoor service areas frequentlyLift and carry items up to 40 lbs occasionallyBend, reach, twist, and stoop during daily operationsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as work indoorsMaintain stamina during busy service periods and high guest volumeUse hands and arms continuously for operational tasks and equipment useEOE M/D/F/V
