Overview Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Manager and lead the culinary operations of a fast-paced, vibrant food service environment. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain a smooth workflow that delights our guests. Your energetic leadership will foster a positive team atmosphere, uphold food safety standards, and drive operational excellence in a casual dining or quick service setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated culinary professional to showcase their management skills and passion for food. Duties Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service during shifts and handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and implement strategies to improve productivity and team performance Experience Proven management experience in a fast food restaurant, casual dining establishment, or similar food service environment with supervisory responsibilities Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management Experience supervising staff training programs and conducting interviews for new team members Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management with an emphasis on team management and customer service excellence Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP or ServSafe certification is preferred Prior experience working in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus but not required This role offers an engaging environment where your culinary expertise and leadership will make a tangible impact.
