Area Manager General Manager Assistant Manager Shift Manager Food & Beverage Manager Facility Maintenance Manager Job Overview Step into the exciting world of bowling at Bowl 360 , where we are committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We are seeking dependable, motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented team members to support daily operations, lead staff, maintain the facility, assist guests, and help ensure the bowling center runs smoothly. Management team members are responsible for supporting daily operations, including safety, staffing, sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, employee morale, facility cleanliness, open bowling, leagues, parties, special events, weekly promotions, food and beverage operations, bar operations, and overall center image. Food & Beverage and Kitchen Managers are responsible for managing kitchen, bar, and food service operations, including food quality, inventory, ordering, vendor communication, staff training, food safety, liquor compliance, cost control, and guest satisfaction. Facility Maintenance Manager are responsible for the daily upkeep, cleaning, repairs, basic equipment maintenance, and overall appearance of the bowling center. This includes maintaining the inside and outside of the building, supporting bowling equipment upkeep, keeping guest and staff areas clean, and helping ensure the facility remains safe, organized, and fully functional. All positions require a hands-on approach, teamwork, professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a positive "can-do" attitude. Key Responsibilities Manage and support the day-to-day operations of the bowling center. Open and close the building properly according to company procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Support business goals related to revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, employee morale, and overall performance. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, coach, motivate, and support team members. Assist in training new staff and ensuring employees follow company policies, procedures, service standards, and safety requirements. Create staff schedules, delegate responsibilities, assign shift duties, and verify completion. Provide breaks to staff, verify clock-in/clock-out activity, and cover positions when needed. Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude. Handle customer feedback, resolve complaints, and report major concerns to upper management when needed. Assist guests at the front desk, kitchen, bar, lanes, arcade, parties, and special events when business needs require it. Support and coordinate parties, events, leagues, open bowling, weekly promotions, and special programs. Work hands-on with staff during busy periods and assist in any department as needed. Maintain strong communication with ownership, upper management, general management, staff, vendors, guests, and outside contacts. Prepare operational reports and communicate results to upper management. Assist with inventory control, procurement, ordering, and stock management. Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures. Handle daily cash responsibilities, including safe counts, drops, drawer audits, ticket audits, transaction reviews, and opening/closing cash procedures. Verify credit card information matches customer identification when required. Check for and prevent acceptance of counterfeit bills. Research and report cash, ticket, or transaction discrepancies. Monitor guests to ensure safety rules are followed, including lane safety, foul line rules, and proper bowling behavior. Walk the building during opening, closing, and throughout the shift to confirm cleanliness, safety, and operational standards. Perform cleaning tasks as needed, including bussing tables, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning glass, cleaning restrooms, and other duties assigned by management. Coach and correct staff performance as needed using direct feedback, positive reinforcement, documentation, and disciplinary action when necessary. Hold or participate in staff meetings to review operations, staffing, customer service, maintenance, and shift concerns. Step in for senior management or ownership as needed. Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Food & Beverage / Kitchen Management Responsibilities Organize, supervise, and support daily kitchen, bar, and food service shifts. Maintain excellent internal and external customer service. Lead the food and beverage team by assisting with recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff. Respond to food and beverage customer concerns and complaints efficiently and professionally. Coordinate communication between front-of-house, kitchen, bar, and management teams. Complete weekly inventory and perform spot checks throughout the week. Manage the kitchen and bar's cleanliness, organization, presentation, and overall image. Suggest and implement ways to improve food and beverage operations. Order supplies, food, beverages, liquor, and ingredients based on business demand. Monitor inventory levels and control waste, costs, and product usage. Negotiate with vendors, order supplies, manage inventory, and assist with budget control. Ensure all required licenses and certifications are current, including health, safety, food service, and liquor requirements. Ensure staff follows all food control, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Set and maintain standards for safe food handling, cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety. Analyze liquor costs versus sales to help maintain bar profitability. Work with liquor vendors to develop new products, specials, promotions, or bar programs. Assist in managing food and beverage budgets, revenue, expenses, and profitability. Help maximize food and beverage sales through customer satisfaction, efficient operations, and employee engagement. Facility Maintenance Responsibilities Keep both the inside and outside of the building clean, safe, and presentable at all times. Sweep, clean, and maintain the exterior of the building, including collecting trash and removing weeds. Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, entrances, walkways, and parking lot. Clear snow from entrances and walkways when needed. Clean all rooms, hallways, restrooms, lockers, offices, stairways, windows, glass, doors, game rooms, and guest areas. Dust furniture, equipment, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed. Sweep, vacuum, mop, clean ceiling vents, clean restrooms, and complete general cleaning tasks throughout the building. Remove garbage and recycling throughout each day and prepare bins for weekly pickup. Replenish restroom supplies regularly and check restroom equipment, including sinks, toilets, hand dryers, air fresheners, toilet paper dispensers, and related fixtures. Maintain fire exits, fire extinguishers, sanitizer pumps, chairs, tables, bathroom fixtures, and general building maintenance items. Clean, stock, and maintain the porter room. Perform general cleanup of all building areas as directed by management. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance checklists as assigned. Check the building at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain the back-end area and keep it clean, organized, and safe. Clean ball returns, lanes, and gutters daily. Oil lanes during league season as directed. Check bowling balls weekly to confirm they are in good condition and report damages or replacement needs to management. Perform basic machine maintenance as directed by head mechanics, assistant general managers, facility managers, or management. Apply basic fixes to bowling equipment, building equipment, and facility systems as needed. Change beer kegs when required. Assist with shipping and receiving supplies and materials. Assist with running food and beverages to guests when needed. Assist with bussing and cleaning tables as necessary. Follow all applicable safety rules, policies, and procedures. Immediately notify management of any situation that cannot be addressed or handled. Cross-train in other areas of the business as time allows. Report to work in proper uniform, on time, ready and able to perform all shift duties. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older , for all position. Basic repair and maintenance skills preferred for facility-related roles. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Experience with recruiting, training, coaching, and performance evaluation preferred. Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Solid understanding of budgeting, expense control, profitability, cash handling, inventory control, vendor negotiation, ordering, and POS systems preferred. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, health regulations, and responsible alcohol service. Ability to follow checklists, instructions, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization. Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Willingness to cross-train in all areas of the business. Bowling, entertainment, hospitality, restaurant, bar, facility, or family entertainment center experience is a plus. Must be dependable, punctual, professional, hardworking, and ready to work each scheduled shift. Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and positive attitude. Must report to work in proper uniform. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry objects over 30 pounds. Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance, depending on position. Ability to bend, reach, climb, clean, stock, sweep, mop, assist guests, and perform hands-on operational duties throughout the shift. Ability to work safely around kitchen equipment, bar equipment, bowling equipment, cleaning supplies, tools, and facility equipment. Ability to apply common sense and good judgment to daily job duties and customer interactions. Schedule Requirements Full-time and part-time positions available. General Manager position may require a 50-hour work week . Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability as business needs require.
