Assistant General Manager (AGM)

American Icon is a craft brewery with a full-service kitchen, dedicated to creating high-quality beer and exceptional food in a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help oversee daily operations, ensuring top-notch customer service and smooth kitchen and bar operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in overseeing all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations. Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns efficiently. Manage and train staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment. Oversee scheduling, inventory, and ordering for both the kitchen and bar. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and liquor laws. Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to enhance menu offerings and ensure quality control. Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and labor efficiency. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brewery and restaurant standards.

Qualifications:

Restaurant and bar experience required (minimum of 3+ years in a management role). Strong knowledge of food, beer, liquor, and restaurant operations. Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred. Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
