Job Description

Lead our Team as the Hotel General Manager The General Manager is directly responsible for the success of the housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and sales departments of the property. A hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer service and guest suite cleanliness. The General Manager will also be involved in the interviewing and hiring of new associates, as well as disciplinary measures. Candidate must have 2-3 years previous management experience as an exceptionally strong General Manager. Additionally, this candidate must have strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, payroll, expense control, employee and guest relations, with proven service training skills, leadership, team building, and be a "results driven leader." Energetic, self-motivated individual with strong initiatives and willing to put additional time and efforts in the operation to ensure optimum financial performance under current economic situation. The responsibilities include managing the daily hotel operations to achieve planned goals for operational integrity as measured by revenue, house profit, and RevPAR index while maintaining company standards for guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. Candidate must demonstrate leadership and professional image to associates, guests, sales accounts, local community representatives, vendors, and competitors.
