Mr. Shuck's Seafood Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead the daily operations of our fast-paced seafood market and restaurant. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food, and beverage management, financial performance, and team development. This individual must thrive in a high-volume environment while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Manage and control food costs, beverage costs, labor costs, and overall operating expenses. Monitor inventory, purchasing, and waste to maximize profitability. Analyze sales, labor, and financial reports to meet company goals. Lead, train, coach, and develop management and hourly team members. Recruit, hire, schedule, and retain high-performing employees. Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally. Maintain all health, sanitation, and food safety standards. Oversee bar operations, including beer, liquor, wine, and beverage cost control. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Work closely with ownership to achieve sales and profitability goals. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume operations.
Strong understanding of:
Food cost, Beverage cost, Labor cost, Bar cost, Inventory management, Profit & Loss statements Experience managing beer, liquor, and wine programs. Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop successful teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
