Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and staff management Supervise daily shift activities to ensure efficient service flow and adherence to safety standards Lead staff training initiatives on food handling, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), food safety, and customer service best practices Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize food and supplies procurement Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing financial reports Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members to build a skilled hospitality team Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols across all areas of the restaurant Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or casual dining settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment Effective communication skills for managerial tasks including staff training, team management, and customer interactions Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and financial reporting Join us to lead with energy and enthusiasm in a vibrant hospitality setting!
