Job Description

Job Title Finishing Lead - 2nd
Shift Position Overview Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading finish line personnel and support the loading of the line, Costa Sander, Stain Area, and UV Area. Startup machinery according to procedures. Adjust settings on machinery according to set up sheets. Responsible for leading maintenance efforts in above mentioned areas including leading technicians in areas needed on non-production days. Must enter work orders as needed. Must communicate to supervisor immediate mechanical or supply issues that may arise. Must be willing to participate on events that relate to finishing when asked. Must have strong mechanical and analytical abilities. Must be able to communicate clearly. Must relieve for breaks fellow associates when necessary. Perform all duties using safe work methods. Comply with corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy. Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required. Inspect assigned job at the beginning of every shift. Affectively coordinate and lead fellow associates in understanding and usage of cycle live inventory system. Must be able to understand and lead fellow associates in shop floor issuing consuming and printing of inventory tickets. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with all levels of plant and management personnel. Must have a thorough knowledge of all equipment in included areas. Must be able to take direction well-effective listener. Must have leadership ability to lead by example. Coordinate, direct and organize employees as needed. Must be able to use a variety of measuring tools to maintain quality standards. Must be able to print and issue-out pallet tickets. Follow established Lockout /Tag out procedures during machine shut down or maintenance activities. Maintain housekeeping standards. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
