The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, adept at managing POS systems like Aloha or Micros, and experienced in supervising diverse hospitality teams. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and high standards of service. Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a positive team environment. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros; perform cash handling duties with integrity. Monitor inventory control to minimize waste and optimize food and beverage stock levels. Supervise kitchen activities including food production, cooking, and food handling to maintain efficiency and quality. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant. Assist with budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability. Support catering, banquet services, or bar operations as needed to enhance customer satisfaction. Participate in interviewing prospective staff members and contribute to staff training & development programs. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in restaurant management. Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership skills; previous assistant manager experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety management practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise essential. Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety standards, and hospitality management principles. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and handle customer service issues professionally. Experience in managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and implementing cost-saving measures. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality service standards.
