Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with passion, precision, and innovation. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety standards, and efficient service. Responsibilities Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, including food preparation, presentation, and service delivery. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and support personnel, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership and mentorship. Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste, optimize food costs, and ensure the availability of necessary ingredients. Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests and staff. Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, conduct training sessions on food handling and safety procedures, and promote continuous improvement in culinary skills. Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen management or as a head chef within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Knowledge of food production processes, menu planning, inventory control, and food safety regulations. Familiarity with managing food service operations including shift management, food handling, and kitchen logistics.
