Job Overview:
Hourly Manager Pay Range:
$16-$18/hour
Experience:
Previous Hot Pot experience preferred We are seeking a versatile, high-energy Hourly Manager to oversee operations across both the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH). As a dual-role leader, you will be the glue that holds our service together, ensuring that our guests receive impeccable service and our kitchen operates with precision. Key Responsibilities Front of House Leadership Guest Experience:
Oversee the dining floor to ensure guests are greeted warmly and their hot pot experience is seamless.
Floor Management:
Coordinate seating, manage waitlists, and handle any guest concerns with grace and professionalism.
Staff Oversight:
Lead servers and hosts, ensuring side work is completed and service standards are met throughout the shift.
Back of House Leadership Kitchen Flow:
Monitor the prep and line teams to ensure orders are accurate and food safety protocols are strictly followed.
Inventory & Quality:
Oversee the "mise en place" for broth bases and ingredients, ensuring everything is labeled (FIFO) and meets our quality standards.
Sanitation:
Maintain a spotless kitchen and dish area, ensuring all health department regulations are consistently exceeded.
Requirements Experience:
Previous management or supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant is required. Experience in a Hot Pot restaurant is strongly preferred.
Versatility:
Deep understanding of both FOH service flow and BOH kitchen operations.
Leadership:
Strong ability to motivate a diverse team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a positive "no task is too small" attitude.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-heat environment.
Safety & Compliance:
Valid food handler/manager certification and a thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation.
Flexibility:
