Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, exceptional management skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining food quality standards, managing inventory, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while fostering a positive team environment that drives operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and professional growth Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and presentation to uphold quality standards and consistency across all menu items Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training in food handling procedures Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours and special events like banquets or catering services Implement training & development programs to enhance staff skills in food production, customer service, and hospitality management Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in restaurant or hospitality settings; adept at team management and staff training & development Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and food management practices to reduce waste and control costs Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing and reporting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly demeanor Background in restaurant management with experience in shift management, budgeting, food safety protocols, and hospitality operations Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Kitchen Manager where your culinary expertise will inspire your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences!
