Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Lead and motivate a diverse team of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and supervisors, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste; oversee ordering and supply chain coordination. Implement and monitor food safety standards in compliance with local health regulations; conduct regular training on food handling and safety procedures. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Coordinate shift management schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours; supervise kitchen operations to maintain quality standards. Conduct staff training sessions focused on customer service excellence, food presentation, and operational procedures; participate in interviewing and hiring new team members. Develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability. Ensure exceptional customer experiences by addressing feedback promptly and maintaining high service standards across all dining formats—including quick service, casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet events. Lead efforts in food production planning for various services such as catering or special events; oversee bar operations if applicable. Experience Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Extensive background in restaurant management with hands-on experience in supervising teams and managing daily operations. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management principles. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting. Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining compliance with financial procedures. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, food safety protocols, and staff training & development initiatives. Previous roles involving supervising staff during shifts—interviewing candidates, conducting performance evaluations—and managing customer service standards. Knowledge of hospitality management practices including catering services, banquet operations, bar management or coffee shop experience is a plus.
