Elevate the Experience We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team during nightly service. This is an hourly, working management position for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, supporting employees, solving problems, and making sure every guest has an outstanding experience. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, approachable, and able to maintain high service standards while keeping the team focused and the restaurant running smoothly. What You'll Do- Key Responsibilities Floor & Service Leadership Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts. Be actively present on the floor and provide direction and support to the team. Monitor service flow, table turns, guest needs, and overall dining room operations. Ensure established service, hospitality, cleanliness, and appearance standards are consistently followed. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, specials, and operational updates. Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to maintain smooth service. Assist the team during busy periods and step into service positions when needed. Team Leadership and Accountability Set clear expectations for front-of-house employees; train and coach appropriately. Address performance or conduct concerns appropriately, and communicate significant issues to the General Manager. Recognize employees who demonstrate excellent performance and hospitality. Help create a respectful, professional, and team-oriented workplace. Assist with onboarding and training of new team members. Guest Experience Maintain a visible, engaged presence throughout the dining room. Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns and service issues. Use sound judgment to resolve guest concerns and protect the overall guest experience. Follow established procedures for guest recovery, discounts, comps, and other service adjustments. Restaurant Operations Complete assigned opening and closing responsibilities. Monitor cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room and front-of-house areas. Ensure side work and shift responsibilities are completed properly. Follow cash-handling and POS procedures. Monitor staffing needs and communicate concerns to management. Complete required shift reports and communicate important information between shifts. Follow all company policies, food-safety requirements and applicable workplace regulations. What We're Looking For 2 + years of previous restaurant experience required; supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong understanding of full-service restaurant operations. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable providing coaching, direction, and accountability to team members. Professional, positive and solutions-oriented approach. Strong attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and organized during high-volume service. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification, as required. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and other high-volume periods as needed.
