This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily deli operations, manage a talented team, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. As a key leader in our hospitality setting, you will drive operational excellence while fostering a positive and energetic workplace culture that values teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the deli department, ensuring efficient workflow and outstanding service delivery. Supervise and train staff on food preparation, safety procedures. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee food handling, cooking, and production processes to maintain high-quality standards aligned with food safety regulations. Implement staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated team environment. Ensure compliance with health codes, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols across all deli operations. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or culinary roles within casual dining or fast-food environments. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams, managing hospitality teams, or in restaurant management roles. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing staff, training team members, and coordinating with other departments. Deep understanding of food safety management practices and food industry regulations. Ability to oversee shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. Experience with food production for catering or banquet events is a plus; familiarity with bar or coffee service is beneficial.
