This role supports the management team with staff leadership, service standards, scheduling, inventory, and overall restaurant performance. Responsibilities Assist with daily front-of-house and restaurant operations. Support hiring, training, coaching, and development of team members. Help coordinate staff schedules and maintain appropriate shift coverage. Monitor guest service and respond professionally to customer concerns. Support food quality, presentation, and service standards. Assist with labor, inventory, and operating-cost control. Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company procedures. Help oversee opening, closing, and shift-management responsibilities. Communicate operational needs and staffing issues to restaurant leadership. Lead by example and promote teamwork during busy service periods. Assist with achieving sales, service, and operational goals. Qualifications Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred. Experience in a full-service or upscale-casual restaurant environment is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to coach and motivate restaurant staff. Comfortable handling guest concerns and operational challenges. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
