Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize restaurant performance, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a vibrant hospitality setting, contributing to a team that values excellence and innovation every day. Duties are but not limited to: Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff coordination Supervise and train team members on food handling, safety procedures, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and customer service standards Oversee inventory control processes to ensure proper stock levels, minimize waste, and manage food production efficiently Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales using POS systems Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas Support shift management by scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and motivating team members to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding new staff, and providing ongoing training & development opportunities Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management practices Expertise in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams, including team management, training & development, and shift supervision Sound understanding of food safety management practices and compliance standards Ability to perform inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food cost management effectively Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; bar experience or coffee/hospitality industry background is advantageous Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interview candidates and foster a positive team environment Join us as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant to lead with passion, drive operational excellence, and create memorable experiences for our guests!
