The General Manager is responsible for delivering operational excellence, exceptional guest service, strong financial performance, and a positive team environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can develop and retain a strong team, maintain brand and food-safety standards, manage labor and food costs, and drive sales and profitability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the demands of high-volume quick-service operations. Key Responsibilities Lead all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service, product quality, cleanliness, safety, and an exceptional guest experience. Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop restaurant team members and management staff. Build an engaged, accountable team while supporting employee retention and development. Ensure compliance with established brand standards, operating procedures, food-safety requirements, and applicable company policies. Monitor sales, labor, food costs, inventory, waste, and other key performance indicators to achieve financial and operational goals. Prepare and manage employee schedules based on business needs, anticipated sales volume, and labor targets. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and oversee ordering, receiving, product rotation, and waste controls. Ensure proper cash-handling, register, deposit, and loss-prevention procedures are consistently followed. Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and identify opportunities to improve the overall guest experience. Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, equipment, and facility standards. Conduct regular coaching and performance discussions and address employee-relations matters in accordance with established procedures. Partner with operations leadership and other support functions to address staffing, operational, compliance, and business needs. Drive restaurant sales and profitability while maintaining high standards for service, quality, and operational execution. Perform additional duties as assigned based on business and operational needs. Qualifications & Skills Previous General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or comparable leadership experience in a quick-service or fast-casual restaurant environment strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop restaurant teams. Experience managing restaurant labor, scheduling, inventory, food costs, sales, and profitability. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, cash handling, and restaurant operating standards. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Comfortable using POS, scheduling, inventory, and other restaurant management systems. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are valued but not required.
