Naansense Fast Casual Restaurant Location:
116 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126 Position Overview Naansense is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead daily back-of-house operations at our fast casual restaurant location in Elmhurst. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for maintaining food quality standards, managing kitchen staff, ensuring cleanliness and safety compliance, controlling inventory, and supporting efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent food and guest experiences. Pay $18-$24 per hour based on experience, leadership background, and kitchen management skills. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation Ensure all food is prepared consistently to Naansense quality standards Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, and performance Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients Reduce food waste and maintain portion control standards Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned Support efficient ticket times and smooth service during peak hours Assist with prep planning and production organization Maintain a clean, organized, and positive work environment Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure excellent customer experience Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures Qualifications Previous kitchen leadership or kitchen management experience preferred Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume environment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed ServSafe certification preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Growth opportunities within the company Positive and team-oriented work environment Employee meal discounts Fast-paced and supportive culture How to Apply Please apply with your resume and relevant kitchen experience.
