Manager Location:
Geneva, IL We are looking for a reliable and motivated manager to help run our Geneva café and lead our team. This role includes managing the day-to-day operations of the store, making sure customers have a great experience, keeping the team organized, and helping the business grow. We are also looking for someone who is outgoing and can build relationships with local businesses, schools, gyms, offices, and community groups to help bring in catering orders and partnerships. Responsibilities Manage daily store operations Lead, train, and support team members Help create employee schedules and make sure shifts are properly staffed Make sure customers receive friendly and fast service Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and organization Handle opening and closing responsibilities Monitor inventory and make sure ingredients and supplies are stocked Help control labor, food costs, and waste Handle customer concerns in a professional way Make sure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed Build relationships with local businesses and organizations Help bring in catering orders, events, and local partnerships Assist with store promotions and community events Qualifications Previous restaurant, café, retail, or hospitality management experience is preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility Friendly and confident when speaking with customers and local businesses Able to multitask and stay calm during busy shifts Experience with scheduling, inventory, or catering sales is a plus Must have reliable transportation Weekend and evening availability may be required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Performance bonuses Additional bonus opportunities for bringing in catering orders and business partnerships Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Training and support Opportunities to grow with the company A positive and supportive work environment We are looking for someone who leads by example, works well with others, and wants to help grow the store.
