Overview La Sera is hiring a General Manager. This brand new, upscale hidden Italian Speakeasy is designed to blend old world Italian elegance with a sleek, modern nightlife experience. Inspired by the meticulous local hospitality legacy of Peter and Dana Burdi , the visionary owners of the highly acclaimed Pronto Italian Sandwiches. Duties

• Lead staff : Recruit, schedule, and train exceptional FOH and bar teams

Guest Experience:

Ensure an urgent, friendly welcoming and authentic Italian hospitality

• Financial controls: Manage weekly inventory, track liquor costs and maximize profitability

Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to Illinois health codes and Hinsdale local laws

•

Sales Building:

Drive sales through service excellence and community engagement

•

Event Planning:

Coordinate wine tastings, wine pairings and exclusive La Sera events

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of upscale restaurant experience or craft cocktail bar management.

Knowledge:

Deep appreciation for Italian wine regions, spirits and culinary traditions

Skills:

Servant leadership skills financial literacy and POS system expertise.

Schedule :

Full flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
