This role is all about creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations. As the driving force behind the restaurant's success, you'll oversee everything from staff management and food quality to customer satisfaction and financial performance. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and experienced in managing hospitality teams, with a love for food and exceptional service. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of food quality. Oversee daily operations including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring efficient workflow in the kitchen and front-of-house. Manage inventory control, food safety protocols, and ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed. Utilize POS systems to process transactions accurately and monitor sales performance. Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation, customer service, safety procedures, and POS operation to foster a skilled team. Handle cash management, budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded. Maintain a vibrant dining environment by supervising food production, catering events, banquets, and bar services when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a strong background in food service operations. Familiarity with POS systems along with cash handling expertise. Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, kitchen management, and food safety standards. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams, conducting interviews, and managing staff training & development. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a restaurant setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively manage staff, coordinate with vendors, and engage with guests. Previous casual dining or quick service & fast food restaurant experience is highly desirable; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus.
