Job Description
Job Summary Join our team and help create a dessert experience guests love! We are seeking an energetic, hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our fast-paced dessert lounge specializing in chocolate crepes, waffles, gelato, coffee, and fresh juices . The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys working with people, delivers excellent customer service, and can keep a busy restaurant running smoothly. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards are consistently met while maintaining food safety compliance. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability. Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Coordinate shift schedules and ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Conduct regular staff training sessions on food handling, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices to foster a knowledgeable team environment. Qualifications Previous restaurant, café, dessert shop, or hospitality management experience preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification is required.
