Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and dependable Assistant Lead Associate to support the Line Lead in managing daily activities on the processing lines. This role ensures that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and team members are supported in performing their tasks efficiently and safely.
Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist the Line Lead in coordinating daily production activities, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress as directed. Support training of new associates on procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Ensure processing lines are running smoothly and troubleshoot basic issues to minimize downtime. Fill in on the line as needed to maintain productivity during staff shortages or high volume. Support daily KPI goals. Monitor associate workstations for accuracy, pace, and compliance with production guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to report issues or improvements. Perform quality control checks and ensure process constraints and defective products are properly addressed, flagged or removed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the line and surrounding work areas.
Competencies/Skills/Abilities:
Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Google Suite or related software. (Preferred)
Required Education and Experience:
High school Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year Previous Leadership experience in a production, warehouse or processing environment. Supports managers with employee coaching in accordance with company policy. Basic computer skill and knowledge in technology preferred
Work Environment:
Work is typically performed indoors in an environmentally controlled office environment. There is little to no exposure to extreme environmental conditions and/or job hazards.
