Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager/ General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining overall operational excellence in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Accommodation assistance is available is available for candiadates who need to relocate Responsibilities Oversee all restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery. Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Train, develop, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members. Implement food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations. Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Manage shifts effectively to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak times. Collaborate with kitchen management to maintain high standards of food production and presentation. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all employees. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting in a restaurant setting. Experience with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Background in fine dining or casual dining experiences is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
