Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant General Manager to lead our team to success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff, control costs, and uphold food safety standards. Your leadership will drive the restaurant's performance, foster a positive team environment, and deliver outstanding dining experiences. Duties Lead all aspects of restaurant operations including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team. Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality standards are met. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting. Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end. Monitor shift management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining efficiency. Implement budgeting strategies and control costs to meet financial targets without compromising quality or service. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong background in food industry operations including food production, catering, bar service, and kitchen management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives. Familiarity with food safety protocols and food handling standards; experience in fine dining or hotel settings is a plus. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in inventory control and budgeting is preferred. Demonstrated leadership in hospitality management with experience in supervising staff, interviewing candidates, and managing shifts. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality.
