- Bloomington, IN What You'll Do As a General Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall performance, operations, and culture of your restaurant.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure a consistently strong guest experience Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing restaurant team Coach and develop managers and team members while creating a positive, accountable workplace culture Oversee labor, scheduling, food costs, inventory, and other key operating expenses Monitor restaurant performance and take action to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health, safety, and employment requirements Partner with FHG leadership and support teams on restaurant initiatives and operational needs Build relationships within the local community and represent the restaurant and FHG professionally Identify opportunities to improve operations, team performance, and the overall guest experience What We're Looking For Previous restaurant management experience required General Manager or comparable leadership experience strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable Understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, inventory, and cost controls Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment Guest-focused mindset and commitment to creating a strong team culture Flexible availability based on restaurant needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Find Your Fit with FHG With multiple restaurant concepts and locations, FHG offers experienced leaders the opportunity to find an environment that fits their strengths, leadership style, and career goals.
