Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
  • Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality
  • Monitor food preparation, presentation, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan menus and specials
  • Order and manage inventory of food and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training kitchen staff
  • Familiarity with hospitality management principles
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation regulations
  • Bartending experience is a plus
