$55,000+ per year + monthly bonus up to $1,000 About the Position We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our restaurant in Peru, Indiana. The General Manager is responsible for the restaurant's overall operations, team leadership, customer service, financial performance, and compliance . This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who knows how to build a strong team, control costs, and deliver consistent results. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily restaurant operations. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members and management staff. Create effective schedules based on business needs. Maintain high standards for customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and applicable laws. Manage cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and Manager-on-Duty responsibilities. Review P&L statements and monitor sales, labor, food costs, and other expenses. Develop action plans to improve sales, profitability, and operational performance. Manage employee performance and take appropriate corrective action when needed. Recognize and reward strong employee performance. Ensure equipment, facilities, and restaurant appearance are properly maintained. Use operational reports, systems, checklists, and other tools to monitor performance and maintain accountability. Build a positive, professional, and results-oriented team culture. Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience Previous General Manager experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to understand financial reports and manage costs Ability to solve problems and turn plans into action Comfortable using computers and business systems, including Microsoft Office Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Valid driver's license preferred What We're Looking For We want a hands-on leader who takes ownership .
