You will ensure all dining services meet standards set by the Indiana State Department of Health and Pines Village quality expectations, while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Nutrition Services. Schedule Full-time, exempt positionTypical hours: Sunday through Thursday 9:30 AM 6:00 PMOccasional flexibility may be needed for special events or operational needs Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and supervise a team of servers to deliver exceptional serviceEnsure dining rooms are prepared and maintained to the highest standardsCreate staff schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levelsHire, train, and evaluate dining team membersAddress resident feedback to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvementOversee daily dining operations and assist during peak service timesManage scheduling, timesheet approvals, and dining service billing processesMaintain compliance with state health regulations and company standardsCoordinate meetings, events, and room set-ups Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalentPrior supervisory experience in dining, hospitality, or food serviceStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsExperience with scheduling, team management, and customer serviceProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)Valid Indiana drivers license and proof of insuranceCPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) What You Bring A passion for hospitality and serving othersStrong leadership presence and ability to motivate a teamExcellent time management and problem-solving skillsA commitment to quality, safety, and resident satisfaction Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance403(b) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off7 Paid HolidaysSimilar jobs in Valparaiso, IN
