Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service. Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices. Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately. Support staff development through training and performance evaluations. Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and improve operational efficiency. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is advantageous. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training & development. Solid understanding of inventory control processes and budgeting practices. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Background in hospitality management or culinary experience is preferred.
