Manage the Trucks. Execute Exceptional Events. Taco Republic is seeking an experienced, bilingual (Spanish/English) Restaurant & Food Truck Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for our neighborhood taco restaurant and two busy food trucks. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who excels at leadership, organization, guest service, and event execution. You will work closely with our Executive Chef and catering team to ensure every restaurant shift, catering event, and food truck service is executed at the highest level. While our Executive Chef and culinary team are responsible for menu development, food preparation, and kitchen execution, this position focuses on managing people, operations, logistics, labor, guest experience, and event coordination. What You'll DoRestaurant Operations Oversee daily operations of Taco Republic Manage front-of-house and support staff scheduling Ensure excellent guest experiences through active floor leadership and table touching Coach and develop team members while maintaining a positive culture Resolve guest concerns and operational challenges professionally Maintain cleanliness, safety, and company standards Food Truck Operations Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily operations for two food trucks Ensure trucks are fully staffed, stocked, organized, and event-ready Coordinate truck logistics, event preparation, and service execution Oversee setup, breakdown, and operational compliance Troubleshoot issues in real time and ensure successful service at every event Catering & Event Execution Partner closely with the Catering Department to organize and execute on-site events Coordinate staffing plans, service logistics, timelines, and operational needs Serve as the operational lead for food truck catering events and festivals Ensure smooth communication between catering, culinary, and operations teams Attend and supervise large-scale catering events as required Help deliver memorable guest experiences at private events, festivals, corporate functions, and community gatherings Team Leadership Hire, train, schedule, and develop team members Conduct performance coaching and accountability conversations Build a culture focused on hospitality, teamwork, professionalism, and growth Maintain staffing levels that support business demands while controlling labor costs Financial & Administrative Management Create schedules and manage labor budgets Monitor labor spend and identify efficiencies Assist with inventory controls and operational reporting Support company initiatives and operational goals Maintain compliance with health department regulations and company policies What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications 3+ years of restaurant, hospitality, catering, or food truck management experience Bilingual in Spanish and English Strong scheduling and labor management experience Experience hiring, training, and leading teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working evenings, weekends, festivals, and special events Preferred Qualifications Food truck or mobile hospitality experience Catering or event management experience Multi-unit restaurant management experience Experience leading both hourly and supervisory team members Why Join Us?
