Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient management of staff, and seamless food service delivery. Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing food preparation, cooking processes, and overall service flow to ensure high-quality dining experiences. Supervise and train staff members across all departments, including front-of-house serving teams and kitchen personnel, promoting continuous development and adherence to standards. Oversee inventory control, food management, and ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels using POS systems such as TOAST. Manage cash handling procedures accurately while maintaining compliance with financial policies. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to guarantee a safe environment for staff and guests. Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth transitions between teams and maintain operational momentum during busy hours. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service, addressing guest concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and training sessions focused on food service management, culinary skills, and hospitality excellence. Monitor budget adherence, analyze sales data, and develop strategies to increase revenue while controlling costs. Coordinate special events such as banquets or catering services to expand the restaurant's offerings and community presence. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems like TOAST for order processing and sales tracking. Strong supervisory skills with a history of staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety protocols, and budgeting practices relevant to restaurant management. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Previous experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is advantageous but not required. Demonstrated leadership in managing teams during shifts, interviewing candidates, and overseeing daily operations.
