- $55,000 Par 3 Newport seeks a dedicated, experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including regular cleaning and maintenance schedules. Monitor and manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing food cost control.Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak times, including weekends and holidays. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development for staff.Food Quality and Safety:
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Implement and enforce food safety protocols and hygiene practices. Address any food-related issues promptly and professionally.Menu Development:
Collaborate with the General Manager and culinary team to develop and update menus, including seasonal and specialty items. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented attractively. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new and innovative offerings into the menu.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or catering setting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Certification in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field is a plus.Benefits:
