Job Description

Description:
Cafe Manager — Lead the Team. Brew Great Things. We're looking for a Cafe Manager who knows that great coffee starts with a great team. As the leader of your French Truck Coffee, you'll be responsible for creating an energetic, welcoming, and well-run environment for both our guests and our team. You'll own the day-to-day operation of your cafe, from scheduling and labor management to inventory, safety, cleanliness, quality, and customer service. Most importantly, you'll be the kind of leader who rolls up their sleeves and leads from the front.
WHAT YOU'LL BE BREWING UP
You'll lead our front-of-house and kitchen teams, build weekly schedules, manage attendance, oversee ordering and inventory, and make sure the cafe is operating at its best. You'll partner closely with your Operations Manager to hit safety, quality, productivity, and labor goals while keeping communication strong. You'll also conduct regular facility inspections, organize monthly team meetings, and make sure training programs are actually happening—not just sitting on a checklist.
YOUR PEOPLE ARE YOUR PRIORITY
Great managers grow great teams. You'll coach, develop, motivate, and provide timely feedback to your team while creating a culture where people feel supported and have opportunities to learn and grow. You'll help establish meaningful performance goals, conduct evaluations, address concerns, celebrate wins, and foster a team environment built on accountability, respect, and a little fun. You'll also participate in bi-weekly one-on-ones with your Operations Manager and help develop best practices across our cafes.
WHY FRENCH TRUCK?
Because we believe work should be more than punching a clock. We're building a team that cares about great coffee, great food, great service, and—most importantly—great people. If you're a hands-on leader who loves developing people, solving problems, creating memorable guest experiences, and keeping things moving, we want to meet you. Come help us keep the coffee flowing and the good vibes brewing!
