Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and team engagement. Your leadership will drive the success of the restaurant by managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining food quality, and fostering a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of quality. Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a motivated, skilled team committed to excellence. Oversee inventory control and food management processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize profitability. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous standards for cleanliness and food handling practices. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Implement shift management strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours while controlling labor costs. Foster a positive customer service environment by addressing guest feedback promptly and maintaining high satisfaction levels. Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Coordinate with culinary teams on menu planning, food presentation standards, and special event catering or banquet services. Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation techniques, customer service skills, health & safety protocols, and operational procedures. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments with a strong background in food service management. Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations including kitchen management, food safety standards, inventory control, and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Demonstrated supervising experience with excellent team management skills; capable of interviewing, training, and developing staff effectively. Strong understanding of budgeting processes, cost control measures, and financial analysis within the hospitality industry. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Culinary experience or food industry background with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures. Experience working in hotel or banquet settings is a plus; familiarity with catering services is advantageous.
