Job Description

Overview The Kent Companies is hiring a driven, people-focused Subway Manager for our 24-hour Louisiana location. We're looking for a leader who delivers exceptional guest service, builds strong teams, drives sales, and keeps operations running smoothly around the clock. In this role, you will lead your Subway team with excellence, ensure outstanding guest experience, and maintain operational standards every day. Responsibilities Ensure every Guest leaves completely satisfied—guest experience is your #1 priority Train all Team Members at every level (POS, back-of-house, guest service, food prep, cleaning) Treat all Team Members with dignity, respect, and professionalism Recognize great performance and discipline when necessary Create a succession plan and develop a Team Member who can assume your duties when you are out Hold monthly meetings with your team to communicate updates, expectations, and goals Maintain professional, influential relationships with your team and leadership Complete all daily paperwork: sales reports, red book entries, shift inventories, and required documentation Always maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation Complete monthly unit inspections using your Field Coach's Unit Inspection form Create staffing schedules based on historical and current sales data Manage HR paperwork: new hire packets, time sheets, payroll data, disciplinary forms, and Team Member files Order all food, inventory, and supplies needed to operate daily Enforce all Subway brand standards, company policies, and procedures Always represent the company with professionalism Support 24-hour operations, including covering shifts as needed Establish a visible presence in the local community—visit businesses, churches, civic groups, and more to drive guest traffic and promote your store Ability to maintain professional and influential relationships with Team Members and management Strong leadership skills and willingness to take initiative Adaptability and comfort navigating change Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and professionally Respect for individual differences, diversity, and workplace inclusion Excellent time management and ability to prioritize meeting deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Ability to work and cover shift required of a 24-hour operation Previous restaurant or food-service management experience is strongly preferred Requirements Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a hospitality or food service setting Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; experience with food safety certifications preferred Excellent team management skills including training & development, interviewing, and shift management Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and deliver outstanding customer service Ability to stand for long periods of time This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a vibrant team within a well-established brand.
