About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated & energetic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help oversee daily restaurant operations & support the General Manager in leading a high-performing team. The AGM plays a vital role in maximizing profitability, delivering exceptional guest experiences, & upholding Wingstop?s standards of excellence. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to inspire a team, & is ready to take the next step in their management journey.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead & supervise daily Front of House & Back of House operations Act as the shift lead & decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager Support team development through training, coaching, performance feedback, & motivation Deliver top-tier guest service & address guest concerns promptly & professionally Ensure compliance with all local, state, & company food safety, health, & sanitation standards (including maintaining an ?A? health rating) Monitor & maintain product quality, speed of service, & cleanliness standards Assist in labor scheduling, inventory management, ordering, & cost control Follow & enforce all cash handling & security procedures Help manage Food & Labor Costs in line with company targets Oversee facility maintenance & cleanliness through preventative programs Train to build the leadership skills necessary for promotion to General Manager Perform operational duties including register use, taking orders, & food preparation as needed Additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or District Manager Qualifications -
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Certifications:
A NYC Food Handlers License/ Serve safe is required to be considered for this position. 2+ years of Manager experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for financial result Possesses & demonstrates a strong owner-like commitment to operations & customer service. Must be able to read, write, speak & understand basic English. Must be able to handle money & use a basic cash register system. Must be able to work weekends, nights & holidays, per the business needs.
Physical Demands:
The position?s physical demands require work in a restaurant/kitchen environment with moderate to loud noise levels, varying temperature conditions & possible direct exposure to hazardous substances, such as hot oil. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, travel & react quickly to deadlines, sometimes with little notice. The employee is often required to st& for long periods; walk, bend, kneel, & reach with hands to retrieve boxes or food containers typically weighing 50 pounds or less, without restrictions. May be required to use a stepladder. Finger dexterity is required for use of the cash register. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, & ability to adjust focus. Must be able to travel as needed.
