About the Position Pearl & Law Hospitality is seeking an experienced, hands on General Manager to lead daily operations at Ama at The Atlas . The General Manager will oversee the guest experience, front of house operations, team performance, financial results, and service standards while working closely with culinary, beverage, events, hotel, and administrative leadership. The ideal candidate is a collaborative hospitality professional who can develop a strong team, establish effective systems, and balance exceptional service with sustainable financial performance. Key Responsibilities Lead daily restaurant operations, including applicable in room dining, lobby service, and special events. Serve as a steward of Ama's identity, concept, and culture, ensuring its values, hospitality philosophy, and sense of place are understood and embodied by the team and consistently brought to life through service, leadership, programming, and every guest interaction. Provide direction, coaching, and accountability for Front of House Managers, Service Managers, the Bar Manager, and the front of house team. Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop employees as needed. Create and manage staff schedules based on business levels, events, and labor targets. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture. Uphold service, cleanliness, safety, and guest experience standards. Respond professionally to guest concerns and oversee service recovery. Monitor revenue, labor, operating expenses, inventory, cost controls, and other key performance indicators. Oversee cash handling, deposits, daily reconciliation, and operational reporting. Collaborate with culinary and beverage leadership on menus, training, inventory, and service execution. Coordinate with the Private Events and Sales Manager to support successful events and restaurant programming. Ensure compliance with applicable health, sanitation, workplace safety, liquor, and food service requirements.
