Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive team environment. Your enthusiasm for food, hospitality, and team leadership will drive the success of our restaurant. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee all FOH operation during your shift, manage staff training, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Desired Skills & Experience:
High school diploma required Must be available to work a flexible schedule that generally includes opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, driven by business needs.
Food Safety:
Serve Safe Manager certified
Alcohol Certification:
TIPS certified Proven experience in quick full-service restaurant environments with a strong background in drink preparation and team management Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Familiarity with Toast POS systems for order processing and sales tracking Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives and managerial communication Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost-saving strategies Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence; capable of managing hospitality teams with enthusiasm and professionalism Join us to be part of a lively environment where your leadership fuels memorable dining experiences! ADA Statement:
Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
