Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part time Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires a strong background in the food industry, with experience in both quick service and fine dining environments. Duties Assist in managing restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards. Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed. Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance performance and customer service skills. Utilize POS systems such as Shift4 for order processing and sales tracking. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Provide leadership during shifts to maintain a positive work environment. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in restaurant as an assistant manager in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and kitchen management. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management. Ability to train and develop staff effectively while promoting teamwork. Experience with cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry. Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills for supervising teams. Background in casual dining, or banquet services is preferred.
