Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Assistant Bar and Live Events Venue Manager to lead our team of 3 bars during live events along with venue roles and responsibility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and can confidently oversee bar operations, security, and overall guest experience. This is a night and weekend role and will require at least one closing shift 4PM-2AM You will be the point person on event nights—ensuring smooth operations, supporting staff, coordinating and settling payment with performers, and maintaining a top-tier atmosphere for both guests and talent. During peak hours you may also have to jump in and help with bartending so bartending experience is a must. Duties Oversee all front-of-house operations during live events Manage and support bar staff , box office and security teams to ensure efficient and professional service Act as the primary on-site manager during shifts, making real-time decisions as needed Coordinate band settlements and hospitality, ensuring artists and their teams are taken care of Monitor guest experience throughout the night and proactively resolve issues Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized environment Communicate with ownership, production, and staff to ensure seamless execution of events Assist with opening/closing procedures and nightly reporting Skills
  • 3+ years of hospitality management experience and bartending experience (nightlife, live music venues, or high-volume restaurants preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-energy environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable managing live events, crowd flow, and late-night operations
  • Experience with Toast POS, scheduling tools, and inventory controls
  • TIPS/ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable transportation
