This unique opportunity provides free housing in exchange for overnight presence and light cooking and house management responsibilities within our women's sober living home. The Assistant House Manager serves as a supportive presence in the home, helping maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
Sleep overnight at the residence as scheduled Be available to respond to house needs or emergencies Support a positive, respectful, and recovery-oriented atmosphere Assist with basic house oversight and resident accountability Communicate any concerns or incidents to management Help ensure house rules and expectations are followed Perform light administrative or house-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Responsible, reliable, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in recovery, behavioral health, or sober living environments preferred Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality Must pass a background check
Compensation:
This is a housing-for-services position . The Assistant House Manager receives a private room in our beautiful sober living home in exchange for overnight presence and limited house management duties. This role is ideal for a graduate student, healthcare worker, recovery professional, or someone looking for affordable housing while making a meaningful impact in the recovery community.
