Café Manager | $24-$26/hr + Benefits Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters | Sandwich, MA Full-Time | 5 Days/Week | $24-$26 per hour Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters is looking for an experienced, positive, and people-focused Café Manager to lead our Sandwich café team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people, building a strong team, creating a great customer experience, and keeping a busy café organized and running smoothly. Coffee experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are especially interested in candidates with leadership or management experience in cafés, restaurants, hospitality, retail, or other fast-paced customer service environments. Our Café Manager works closely with our Team Leader, Shift Leaders, Operations Manager, and ownership, so you will have a strong management team around you while taking ownership of the day-to-day success of the Sandwich café. What You'll Do Lead & Support Your Team Lead, coach, and support café staff while creating a positive and professional work environment Work closely with Team Leaders and Shift Leaders to keep each day running smoothly Help recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop new team members Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to help employees grow Build team morale and create an environment where employees feel comfortable contributing ideas Manage Café Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of our Sandwich café Create and maintain staff schedules based on business needs and labor goals Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, customer service, and product quality Manage café inventory and place orders with vendors and our internal production team Help oversee equipment maintenance and communicate repair needs Perform opening, closing, POS, barista, and other café responsibilities as needed Create a Great Customer Experience Set the example for friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service Coach the team on Snowy Owl's service standards Proactively resolve customer concerns Make sure the café remains clean, organized, welcoming, and ready for service Maintain Product Quality Work with the team to maintain Snowy Owl's beverage and food standards Ensure food handling and storage procedures meet ServSafe requirements Help staff develop their knowledge of coffee, beverages, food, and other Snowy Owl products Monitor product quality and communicate issues when needed Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: An experienced manager, supervisor, team leader, or shift leader Reliable, organized, and comfortable making decisions A strong communicator who enjoys working with and developing people Able to stay calm and organized in a busy environment Comfortable giving feedback and addressing problems when they arise Positive, approachable, and supportive A strong multitasker who can balance people, customers, and operations Comfortable learning technology and working with tools such as Google Drive and Excel Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and appreciates a good sense of humor! Previous café or specialty coffee experience is NOT required. Leadership ability, hospitality, reliability, and a willingness to learn are more important to us. Schedule This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week management position.
