General Manager

IHOP Restaurant in Bowie is looking for high energy General Manager. Candidate must have a proven track record of success in providing leadership, developing staff, effectively managing food and labor cost, following and implementing SOPs and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must have a minimum of five years of Manager experience in a fast-paced full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities include:

Manage day to day operations of restaurant Follow and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) Take operational responsibility of restaurant Ensure compliance of company's policies and guidelines Recruit, hire, train, retain and develop quality staff Provide leadership and training to personnel; recognize and motivate members of the team; coach and train the team for operational excellence Ensure Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met Control two key financial items by maintaining inventory and managing labor efficiently Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a Preventative Maintenance Plan based on Company Standards Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction

Restaurant Manager:

at least 5 years in fullservice restaurant Willing to work any day including weekends and holidays Food Manager Certification a plus.
