Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to oversee the daily operations of our deli department. The Deli Manager will lead a team, manage inventory, and maintain the overall standards of the deli. Duties Supervise daily operations of the deli department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products to maintain optimal levels. Train, mentor, and supervise deli staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Oversee food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Coordinate catering orders and special events as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the deli area. Monitor financial performance and assist in budgeting for the deli department. Skills Strong background in casual dining or food service management. Proficient in inventory control and hospitality management practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively. Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices within the food industry. Experience in catering services is a plus. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
